Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently, adhering to safety protocols.
- Inspect equipment for any mechanical issues before use to ensure safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweep and organize the floor as needed.
- Perform regular inventory checks and update stock records accurately.
- Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts (counterbalance or reach) is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) required.
