Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with strict attention to detail and speed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including proper forklift inspection and maintenance checks before each shift.
- Material Organization: Keep the warehouse organized and maintain a clean, orderly workspace to prevent accidents.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CFP/CFII).
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and shipping details.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including early mornings and potential overtime on weekends.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required for warehouse vehicle operation.
