Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks, railroad cars, or shipping containers.
- Inspect forklift for mechanical and safety issues before operation and report any problems.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure safety compliance.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies strictly at all times.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation and tagging.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CP/CF) license is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high physical stamina.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) may be required for warehouse shuttle duties.
