Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and ensuring stock levels are organized.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and warehouse policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping schedules.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Class A, B, or C) with a valid license.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling (1+ years preferred).
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment operation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners.
