Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Inspect forklift equipment for mechanical issues before each shift and report any necessary repairs to maintenance immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and reconciling discrepancies against digital warehouse management systems.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and traffic flow within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated zones to maximize storage efficiency and ensure easy retrieval.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Perform routine cleaning of the work area and equipment to maintain a professional and safe environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and bending or twisting as needed.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory or operating warehouse software.
- Proven track record of safety compliance and reliability in previous roles.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as business needs dictate.
