Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Verify and scan inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a distribution or warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners.
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
