Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and documentation procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory management software
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends as needed
