Responsibilities
- Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to move, locate, and stack merchandise within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring accuracy in inventory counts and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Assist in inventory audits, stock rotation, and cycle counting.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse tasks and material handling.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (valid license required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory tracking and paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward safety compliance.
