Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, including Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, and Pallet Jacks, following all OSHA safety protocols.
- Load and unload freight trucks accurately and efficiently to meet daily shipping schedules.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and tagging procedures.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to organize stock and optimize storage space.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, attendance, and productivity.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years of previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when required.
