Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the Mesa, AZ warehouse and Illinois facilities.
- Inventory Accuracy: Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure stock levels are maintained using warehouse management systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Material Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; sort and stack merchandise according to established guidelines.
- Overtime Support: Work flexible shifts and be available for overtime during peak seasons to meet urgent production deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must hold a valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read labels, follow pick tickets, and maintain accurate records.
- Availability: Must be available for overtime and weekend shifts as needed for urgent hiring projects.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff.
