Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in strict accordance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload shipments accurately to ensure timely delivery and inventory accuracy.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated areas to maintain a clutter-free and efficient workspace.
- Perform routine safety inspections and minor maintenance on equipment before and after shifts.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Adhere to OSHA guidelines and report any potential safety hazards immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and damage reports.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and cargo placement.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if necessary.
