Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments.
- Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of machinery to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the receiving, organizing, and staging of inventory with high accuracy.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse environment at all times.
- Communication: Coordinate with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator license or certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse logistics and forklift operation.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and equipment handling.
