Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency: Safely load, unload, and move palletized inventory using forklifts (Reach Truck, Order Picker, or Counterbalance).
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and verify incoming and outgoing shipments using RF scanners.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse environment to optimize workflow.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and logs accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (CDL is not required unless driving a truck, but forklift cert is mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating industrial forklifts.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate a busy warehouse floor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and safety procedures.
