Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse safely.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and stocking items according to location.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
