Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our high-volume distribution center. You will ensure inventory accuracy and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and documenting stock movements.
- Ensure pallets are stacked correctly and safely to prevent accidents and damage to goods.
- Collaborate with team leads to streamline workflow and meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is highly preferred.
