As a Weekend Shift Operator, you will be the backbone of our distribution center. You will ensure that our products are moved safely and efficiently, contributing directly to our on-time delivery goals. We offer a dynamic work environment where your safety is our top priority.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading dock.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure proper maintenance and safe operation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using warehouse management software.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Organize storage areas to ensure maximum efficiency and safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFOT) or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory.
