Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery (e.g., pallet jacks, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Verify inventory accuracy by performing regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Ensure all products are correctly tagged, labeled, and stored according to safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Complete necessary paperwork and logs regarding inventory movement and safety checks.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus.
