Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks before starting shifts.
- Organize and stack inventory accurately to ensure efficient order picking and packing.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols while operating heavy machinery.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse management regarding inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CP, LF, RF, or HE) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for counting and weighing inventory.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
