Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and pallet jacks) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to verify safety and functionality before starting work.
- Accurately scan and verify inventory using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation and staging of pallets for shipping, ensuring proper weight distribution and labeling.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, including general housekeeping and organizing storage areas.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime as required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
