Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery according to safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain organized stockpiles to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Palletizing & Stacking: Properly stack and palletize goods to prevent damage and optimize storage space.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (CDL Class A/B is a plus but not required).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations and material handling.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in inventory counts.
