Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets, heavy machinery, and raw materials throughout the facility.
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately fulfill customer orders by locating items, verifying quantities, and preparing them for shipment.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and organizing the warehouse floor to maximize efficiency.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Safely operate dock doors and forklifts to load and unload incoming and outgoing freight.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must hold a valid forklift operator license and certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a full-time basis.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and climb ladders or reach high shelves.
- Driver’s License: Valid state-issued driver's license required.
