Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (reach trucks, sit-down forklifts) to move, stack, and organize inventory in the warehouse.
- Load and unload freight trucks efficiently and safely, adhering to weight limits.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on all forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members regarding inventory status.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic math skills for reading pick tickets and labels.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
