Key Responsibilities
As a Forklift Operator, your duties will include:
- Operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Inspecting forklifts and equipment for safety issues before each shift.
- Picking and packing orders accurately to meet daily production targets.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborating with team leads to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment.
- Performing routine maintenance checks and reporting any equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are reliable and safety-conscious:
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counts.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
