Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all 5S safety standards and housekeeping protocols.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders according to shipping manifests and customer requirements.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure timely fulfillment of daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks (reach trucks, forklifts, etc.) in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and comprehend shipping documents and labels.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and checking shift schedules.
