As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods safely.
- Inspect equipment for maintenance needs and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Verify inventory accuracy during loading and unloading processes.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet nightly production targets.
- Perform basic data entry and paperwork as required.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Previous experience in warehousing or logistics preferred.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Strong understanding of workplace safety standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
