Role Overview:
We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to operate material handling equipment and ensure the smooth flow of goods in our distribution center.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting, tagging, and placing stock in designated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist in packaging, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping products for shipment to customers.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure operational efficiency.
- Report any damaged goods, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class A/B preferred for certain roles).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating a forklift in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and walking long distances.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal safety procedures.
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to punctuality.
