Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and stage materials in the warehouse.
- Conduct routine pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness.
- Accurately check inventory against warehouse management systems and delivery receipts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in the proper tagging, labeling, and storage of hazardous materials when required.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 6 months to 2 years of previous forklift operating experience.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and comprehend safety labels and shipping documents.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as business needs dictate.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
