As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring that our inventory is moved efficiently and safely. We value safety, reliability, and teamwork above all else.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks before each shift.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts by scanning pallets and verifying shipment documents.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S safety standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with warehouse managers to optimize shipping and receiving schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with RF scanners is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
