Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Safely and efficiently operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, stock, and distribute materials to ensure inventory levels meet operational demands.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on all forklift equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of material movements and report any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- License: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Experience: Proven experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team structure.
