Your Mission
As a Forklift Operator at Apex, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. You will ensure that products are moved safely and efficiently from receiving to shipping. We pride ourselves on safety and efficiency, and we are looking for candidates who share these values.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of stock movements.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper operation and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with safety regulations.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform general warehouse duties such as packing, labeling, and organizing pallets.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, etc.).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and tracking.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
