Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas to maximize warehouse space.
- Operate RF scanners to update inventory systems accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred) or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with RF scanners and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
