Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and stock checks.
- Inspect forklift equipment for mechanical issues before the start of each shift and report any necessary repairs.
- Ensure strict adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Organize warehouse aisles to ensure clear pathways and a safe working environment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including packing and order picking, as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required for immediate consideration).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be reliable and available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
