Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts daily before operation to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Organize and stack inventory accurately to maximize storage space and prevent damage.
- Perform daily inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Collaborate with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (CPC or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to operate machinery with precision.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team setting.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
