Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, and order picker forklifts in a high-volume distribution center.
- Load and unload freight trucks efficiently to meet daily shipping targets.
- Conduct routine pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections on all forklift equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse layout and workflow.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (OSHA compliant) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
