Job Summary
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for moving, locating, and verifying specific quantities of material or equipment within the warehouse. You will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is processed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and stack products.
- Perform daily safety inspections of equipment to ensure proper working order.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Accurately pick and pack orders to meet customer deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA/CLIA) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License (preferred but not always required).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
