Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders while maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Load & Unload: Load and unload trailers and trucks in a timely manner, ensuring proper securing of cargo to prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the warehouse manager.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including keeping aisles clear and trash organized.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class 1, 3, or 4) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and operating machinery.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Ability to read and understand basic English for safety instructions and inventory logs.
