Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner to load and unload materials.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and documentation for all shipments.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Organize warehouse storage areas to maximize space and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse managers and team members regarding inventory levels and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
