Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all 5S safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Verify inventory accuracy by accurately counting stock and documenting storage locations.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in the receiving and shipping of goods, ensuring proper documentation and handling of hazardous materials when required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding material handling and workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order picking.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
