Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Retrieve merchandise from storage areas and accurately pack items for shipment to customers.
- Inventory Management: Utilize barcode scanners to verify quantities and ensure stock accuracy.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets safety standards.
- Shipment Preparation: Label packages correctly and prepare them for the shipping department.
- Maintain Safety: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided).
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order fulfillment.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and committed to a consistent work schedule.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
