Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (reach trucks, pallet jacks) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform daily safety checks before starting shifts.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain proper documentation for all stock movements.
- Stack pallets safely and securely according to company guidelines and weight limits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA preferred) with a valid license.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork accuracy.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
