Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery to load, unload, and move products.
- Inventory Management: Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and shelving materials correctly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including proper lock-out/tag-out procedures and daily equipment inspections.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment with high accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (CDL not required, but forklift experience is a plus).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions with a focus on accuracy.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
