Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments.
- Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning products and ensuring proper placement in storage areas.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent workplace accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals and shipping deadlines.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including organizing stock and maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and safety checks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills to coordinate with team leads and coworkers.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
