Job Overview
We are a leading warehousing and distribution center serving the Kansas City area. We are currently expanding our operations and looking for reliable operators to help manage our inventory and ensure timely shipments.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and freight cars in an organized manner.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues and perform daily pre-shift checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock rotation (FIFO).
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
