Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues before each shift and perform basic maintenance as required.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Organize and stack inventory pallets efficiently to maximize warehouse space.
- Utilize RF scanners and inventory management software to track stock levels accurately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring the safety of yourself and your team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift (1-2 years preferred).
- Certification for forklift operation (Class A or Class B) is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
