Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, move, and store materials in accordance with safety regulations.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the safe and efficient organization of the warehouse floor to minimize hazards and maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets and deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (Valid Forklift Certification required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
