Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers to move materials within the warehouse.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers, ensuring products are handled with care and placed in designated storage areas.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts and inventory organization to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent accidents and ensure smooth operations.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including daily logs and shipping manifests.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attitude: Strong willingness to learn and obtain a forklift certification through our training program.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
