Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload shipments in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by organizing pallets and materials in designated storage zones.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and warehouse protocols at all times.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping and organizing aisles.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience: No prior forklift experience required; we will train the right candidate.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not always mandatory.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
