Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains organized, clean, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in the packing and preparation of orders for delivery.
Qualifications
- Current and valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification.
