Responsibilities
- Operate industrial forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in proper working order and safe to operate.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and warehouse policies.
- Sort, stack, and organize merchandise according to established guidelines and storage locations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Accurately document inventory movements and any equipment issues using handheld scanners or logbooks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to undergo paid forklift certification training upon hiring.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use scanning equipment.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
