Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments of perishable goods into and out of cold storage units.
- Monitor and maintain accurate temperature logs for all storage zones.
- Sort, organize, and inventory stock according to established safety protocols.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and storage aisles.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in the packing and shipping process to ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 35°F for extended periods.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience is a plus but not required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
